Alone

There’s a difference, you see, between being alone,
And having no one around to call your own.
In this crowded world, I feel alone,
Surrounded by people, yet by myself unknown.

But when no one is near, just I stand there,
Alone, yet aware, of my own care.
I do not feel lonely in my quiet space,
For with myself, I find my own embrace.

फ़र्क है अकेले पड़ जाने पर
और आस पास कोई न होने पर
दुनिया की इस भीड़ में
मैं अकेला पड़ जाता हूं
इर्द गिर्द लोग होने पर भी
खुद के साथ किसी को न पता हूं
पर जब कोई न हो पास मेरे
सिर्फ मैं अकेला जब खड़ा हूं
खुद को अकेला न मान
मैं खुद के साथ खुद को पता हूं।
